Find Your Way Home
The Art of Sacred Homecoming
Where is home?
What does home look like, sound like, feel like in your body, your heart?
To Exhale
To Belong
Feel Refuge
Rest
Peace
Safety
Acceptance
Coming home may be a return to a longed-for place or a longed-for feeling.
Coming home may be a reclamation of what is core. What sits at the heart of your heart.
It may take on different shapes and textures for each of us. It may change and shapeshift over time - it will change and shapeshift over time. Because we are changing throughout the movements of our lives.
But while the details of homecoming may alter, the sense of peace and belonging will remain something we all desire and reach for.
Each life story is unique.
And each pathway through a life assumes unique twists and turns, experiences particular wounds and blessings.
But the wisdom of the Jewish tradition can offer us invaluable footholds as we climb and navigate all that we will face. Jewish wisdom - its vast and deep reservoir of teachings and stories, values and practices - can hold us and fill us up when we are facing the most challenging moments.
It can offer that ark in which to rest.
That well from which to drink.
That light from which to draw.
We all need to cultivate tools to help us rest.
To find the water to quench our thirst.
To seek out the light and bathe in it. Grow it.
I am a firm believer in the endless and surprising power of the Jewish spiritual tradition to give us what we need to make our way through the human experience and to move closer to wholeness and wellness.
That is what it has given me.
Our journeys may be our own, but this sacred work - of accessing this wisdom and integrating it into our own lives - is best done together. In relationship. Companionship. In connection with one another.
This is the work of Sacred Homecoming.
To offer companionship and guidance in this holy and hard work.I come to this work with my own professional background and experience of over 25 years of learning and teaching, guiding individuals and creating transformative experiences, sharing Jewish wisdom in its many rich forms with hundreds of seekers across the lifespan.
And I come to this work as a fellow traveler, bringing my own experiences with joy and loss, birth and death, illness and healing, fear and beauty.
My work is to share the spiritual toolbox that has helped me to wend my way through dark spots in my life - trusting that it will have life-giving and light-giving capacities to offer you too.
The work of Sacred Homecoming can take many shapes:
One-to-one spiritual guidance and support
Personalized learning and practice
Small-group study and exploration of texts and rituals
Customized creative experiences, rituals, and prayers to support your needs
I am here to meet you where you are. To hear your life story. To get to know your deepest yearnings and needs. And to open up the well of Jewish wisdom for you. To accompany you on your journey.
